Nikola Stulic has officially completed his transfer to Lecce from Royale Charleroi Sporting Club for a reported fee of €5m plus add-ons.

The Serbia international has two senior caps for his country and will celebrate his 24th birthday next month.

He flew in this morning for the medical tests and then put pen to paper on a four-year contract, with option for a fifth season at the Stadio Via del Mare.

He is the replacement for Nikola Krstovic, who was sold to Atalanta earlier this month for €25m plus add-ons.

A product of the Partizan Belgrade academy, he moved to Radnicki Nis, then was sold to Belgian side Charleroi for €750,000 in January 2023.

He was available for an affordable fee, as his contract with the club was only set to run until the end of the current campaign.

Stulic was chosen for Lecce by legendary director of sport and talent scout Pantaleo Corvino, who was in the photograph published by the club when signing his contract.
