Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman Darius Robinson reacts against the Los Angeles Rams in the second half at SoFi Stadium.
Unsurprisingly, former Missouri standouts Luther Burden III, Armand Membou and Darius Robinson cracked their respective rosters for Chicago, New York and Arizona to start the 2025 season.
Burden, a second-rounder this spring, will continue to rotate through a new-look offense with the Bears after an eye-catching rookie preseason. Membou will slot into right tackle for the Jets after being selected seventh overall, and Robinson, who missed most of 2024 due to injury, will look to define his professional game.
NFL teams trimmed their rosters to 53 players Tuesday after holding up to 90 players during the preseason. Here’s a breakdown of the other former Missouri Tigers after the deadline moves:
After re-signing to a three-year deal this offseason, linebacker Nick Bolton will man one of the starting spots for Kansas City once again this season. Defensive linemen Jordan Elliott and Isaiah McGuire will bring experience to San Francisco and Cleveland, respectively, while second-year linebacker Ty’Ron Hopper might step into a bigger role with Green Bay.
Drew Lock will stick as a backup quarterback in Seattle, his second stint with the franchise. Cornerbacks Akayleb Evans and Kris Abrams-Draine will embark on their second seasons with Carolina and Denver, respectively. Running back Tyler Badie joined Abrams-Draine on the Broncos’ 53-man roster.
After starting his career in Chicago, offensive tackle Larry Borom will move forward with Miami after signing this offseason. Also, seventh-rounder Marcus Bryant is excepted to serve as a swing tackle in New England.
