This week, Nike unveiled Caitlin Clark’s official logo ahead of her apparel collection and signature shoe releases with the company. That logo is now prominently in Indianapolis.
Clark’s logo was unveiled outside Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Tuesday. It features the tagline, “Caitlin Was Here,” and a photo of a basketball going through a net.
It’s part of the promotion of Clark’s new logo, which she announced Monday via social media. Her signature shoe and apparel collection – which includes shirts, pants, hoodies and shorts – are due to release in 2026. Ahead of Tuesday’s Indiana Fever game against the Seattle Storm, Clark wore pants that included her logo and fans received a special “Caitlin Was Here” t-shirt.
Clark’s partnership with Nike began during her college career at Iowa through an NIL deal and continued after the Fever selected her No. 1 overall in the 2024 WNBA Draft. She inked a multi-million dollar agreement with the shoewear giant, which also included plans for a signature shoe release. Clark also joined fellow Nike athletes Sabrina Ionescu, A’ja Wilson and other notable female athletes in a Super Bowl LIX commercial this past February
Insider: Caitlin Clark shoe could be ‘$100 million business’
Caitlin Clark has launched multiple PEs, including a Kobe V Protro in Fever colors and another which paid homage to her dog, Bella. All the while, anticipation is building for her sneaker, and it appears fans will be able to get their hands on it next year.
When the sneaker officially drops, sneaker insider Nick DePaula predicted during an appearance with Front Office Sports that it could result in a huge win for Nike. He thinks it could turn into a nine-figure payoff for the brand.
“Signature shoes, I would say in the W, there was obviously a 10-year window where there weren’t any players with a signature,” DePaula said on FOS Today last month. “We’ve now seen Sabrina’s line take off. Her line, there were 54 NBA players that wore it last season. It’s become one of the biggest businesses in signature shoes. A’ja Wilson now has had a successful launch, as well.
“I think when Caitlin’s shoe comes out, I think it can be a $100 million business. I think it could become a top-five signature franchise not just in the W, but across basketball. That would be one of the reasons I would’ve maybe rushed it. But of course, you want to get it right.”
