AJ Styles just won’t quit.
He’s out here costing members of The Judgment Day matches, and then winning matches against other members, all in service of getting to Dominik Mysterio. On this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Birmingham, the Intercontinental champion went straight to General Manager Adam Pearce asking him to handle it.
You won’t be surprised to learn Pearce’s solution:
That’s right — Mysterio will defend the Intercontinental championship against Styles on next week’s episode of Raw in Paris. This will come just one night after Clash in Paris, a show that’s already full up with five matches, including a women’s Intercontinental title match that just went official earlier today.
Styles and Mysterio last met at night two of SummerSlam on Aug. 3, where the latter emerged victorious to continue his reign. This after waiting for a number of weeks to get cleared.
He’s healthy again — relatively speaking, of course — and that means defending his title more often.
