Qua Russaw returns as a starter on Alabama's defense as one of the more important players for the Crimson Tide in 2025.
A player whom defensive coordinator Kane Wommack recently labeled as Alabama's "freakiest" athlete, outside linebacker Qua Russaw enters his third season in Tuscaloosa as a returning starter for the program.
Coming off a breakout 2024 campaign, Russaw emerged as a starter at the wolf position for Alabama a year ago, which was only a year after the former top recruit did not appear in a game to redshirt year one.
Russaw would certainly make the most of that expanded role as well, emerging into one of the top playmakers in Alabama's front seven. Can Russaw now do it again in 2025?

One of the more versatile members of Alabama's linebacker room, Russaw emerged as a key piece of the Crimson Tide defense a year ago, and that will certainly continue this fall. As to what that could include, expect Russaw to rank among Alabama's top pass rushers, one who could very well drop into pass coverage at times as well.
Overall, expect an even better 2025 season from Russaw, one in which he likely posts multiple career-high's statistically as a prominent name at a key position for the Alabama defense.
