Nebraska has released its depth chart for its season opener against Cincinnati on Aug. 28 at Arrowhead Stadium.
Expectations for the Cornhuskers are higher than they’ve been in a long while heading into the third season of the Matt Rhule era in Lincoln. Rhule led Nebraska to a 5-7 record in 2023 (his first season), but rebounded and secured the program its first bowl game appearance since 2016 with a 6-6 record last season.
Nebraska downed Boston College 20-15 in last year’s New Era Pinstripe Bowl, giving the Huskers their first bowl game victory since 2015. Now, it’ll look to start the 2025 season strong against a Big 12 foe.
