However, an argument could be made that the 6-foot-1 forward has emerged as the most popular player on the squad not named Caitlin Clark. The fact that Cunningham has amassed over 3 million followers on Instagram, TikTok and X combined is a clear testament to this notion.
This is exactly why the fans were quick to send their greetings for Cunningham after the Fever made a post about the former Missouri standout. Saturday, Aug. 16, is a special day for Cunningham as she celebrated her 29th birthday.

Cunningham will be looking to mark her birthday with a win as the Fever return to action on Sunday in a road matchup against the Connecticut Sun. Indiana is in dire need of a victory after losing two straight games, including Friday’s disappointing 88-84 loss to the Washington Mystics.
Cunningham has been starting for the Fever amid Clark’s extended injury absence. The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year has no timetable for her return and is not expected to play on Sunday against the Sun, which should give Cunningham another chance to help the Fever bust out of their current slump.
