Kelsey Plum and the Los Angeles Sparks are back to their winning ways after taking care of business Friday night against Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings in a 97-96 win at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas.

It was a great way for the Sparks to bounce back from a 105-97 loss at home at the hands of the reigning WNBA champions New York Liberty, last Tuesday. The Wings are one of the worst teams in the league today, based on record, and the Sparks made sure to capitalize on a perceived soft opponent to get back in the win column.

Plum sustained her terrific form with a stellar outing, as the two-time WNBA champion poured in 28 points on a 9-for-17 shooting from the floor with three 3-pointers. In addition, she dished out five dimes and grabbed three rebounds to go along with two steals in 34 minutes of action.

It may be just an ordinary win on a random August night for the Sparks, but it's one to remember for Plum for a good reason. She became the latest player to join the WNBA's 4000-point club, with the Sparks sending their congratulations to the 30-year-old guard for her remarkable milestone.

"Caught in 4K. 🎥 Congrats to @Kelseyplum10 on recording 4,000 career points," the Sparks' post on X read.

Plum entered the contest just 12 points away from joining the WNBA's 4,000-point club, and she finally joined the club in the second quarter with a sweet move to the basket. The former No. 1 overall pick left behind her primary defender, JJ Quinerly, before sidestepping her way to the paint for an easy bucket.

Plum's big night took away from Wings rookie Bueckers' impressive outing. Bueckers led Dallas with 29 points on 12-for-21 shooting.

Looking ahead, the 16-17 Sparks will look to keep it going on Sunday, when they attempt to get back to .500 in a showdown against the Washington Mystics at CareFirst Arena in Washington, DC.
